Tips to achieve monthly S$500 online spending

  • Pay your telecom bills online
    • via telecom websites (SingTel / M1)
    • via mySam (SingTel / Starhub) @ mysam.sg (Note: no more 6% rebate for Frank card)
    • You can pay more than you owe
  • Purchase Amazon Gift Cards (Email)
  • Pay your Town Council S&CC fees online:
    • for few Town Councils only
    • via Town Council websites
    • the author didn’t try this previously
  • Any other purchases online

Tips to achieve continuously min monthly spending

  • Credit your ez-link using “EZ-Reload” or  “Top and Tap” method
  • Pay your telecom bills online

    • You can pay more than you owe
  • Pay your Town Council S&CC fees using RCCS (Recurring Credit Card Scheme)
  • Pay your electronics bills at SP Services Customer Services Centres
    • SP Services Customer Services Centres: Somerset, Toa Payoh and Woodlands
    • Visit SP Services website for more details
  • Purchase vouchers, e.g.
    • Supermarket Vouchers (FairPrice, Cold Storage etc.)
    • Metro Cheques
  • Any other recursive payments

Tips to earn more rebate in FairPrice

  • Pay by the right Cards to earn 5% or more rebates
  • Scan Plus! card (or NTUC member card) for points
    • 2X points if min S$20 spending (equivalent to 1.33% rebate or more)
  • Scan NTUC member card for 4% annual rebate
    • 4%+ (4.5% for 2013) annual rebate will be credited into your linked savings account yearly
    • You need to pay S$117 yearly for NTUC member fees
    • Recommended for those who spend S$150 monthly in NTUC FairPrice
    • Your link points worth more than normal Plus! member (e.g. to redeem S$20 Metro voucher, you need 2100 for NTUC Plus!, but 2400 for Plus!)
    • Monthly spend of S$150 (or more) in FairPrice will be able to cover annual fee (i.e. S$117)
    • Free 30K insurance
    • Kinds of course fees funding (S$250 or more)
